iCare4NextG — H2020 FET Project on Future & Emerging Technologies for Next-Generation Care

iCare4NextG developed enabling technologies for the next generation of personalised, sensor-driven healthcare.
The project combined advanced photonics, microfluidics, and applied artificial intelligence to support early diagnosis and continuous monitoring at the point of care. Consortium partners produced and tested device modules and analytical pipelines aligned with the H2020 Future and Emerging Technologies vision for radically new healthcare paradigms.
ASIL contributed micro-robotic and holographic-imaging components for cell-level diagnostics, and prototyped device modules suitable for portable and bedside deployment. Outcomes feed directly into ASIL’s continuing portfolio of clinical-translation projects in cancer mechanobiology, holographic microscopy, and AI-assisted screening.
