Advanced Systems & Invention Laboratories (ASIL) is a multidisciplinary laboratory operating within Yıldız Technical University. Research at ASIL Lab spans artificial intelligence in healthcare and sports, optomechatronic systems, cancer mechanobiology, micro and nano robots, microfluidic systems, and biomedical engineering.
In parallel, national and international projects are carried out through TÜBİTAK grants, Erasmus collaborations, and European Union programs. The laboratory brings together researchers from various engineering and science disciplines, along with undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students.
The founder and director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Üvet, specializes in robotics and mechatronic systems, micro and nano robots, biomedical engineering (MEMS), and project development and management. Team members include researchers working in artificial intelligence, image processing, optics, and cell culture. At ASIL Lab, with the spirit of “Better is possible!”, the future of science and technology is being shaped today.
